This petition is to ask for both town and county support for the Rich Square W. S. Creecy Training & Community Center. The ability to continue the wonderful initiatives started three years ago depends heavily on the ability to pay utility costs and basic consumable supplies. There are no public facilities in the Rich Square or Woodland Communities that offer free high speed internet access, community college programs, after-school programs, senior citizen programs, community engagement activities, basketball court, organizing and hosting of job/career and college fairs both both youth and adults and meeting place for individuals, groups and businesses. Although many activities continue, to regain the full impact of the facility, more financial support for utilities to allow the organization to continue to perform this public function is needed. We need to hear your voice as we seek funding from those who may be in a position to assist in offsetting the utility costs.
