Some parents are really hurting these days & take advantage of the Reduced / Free Lunch which is meant for those families in need. BUT! Did you know that in a divorce situation where one family applies & is awarded the benefit of this program based on their income & the other parent LITERALLY has a household income of almost $2,000,000.00 they are also awarded this same benefit! Have even seen where one parent would not share the children's lunch account with the other parent so the school split them. The rich parent actually took the other parent to court to make the account one again & was awarded the free lunches! This needs to STOP!
