Name: Daniel Botnick on Feb 7, 2007Comments: Hamas is, plainly and simply, a terrorist organization devoted to the complete destruction of Israel and, Nazi-like, the annihilation of Jews. If a representative of my country, the land my birth and my parents' birth, can find anything to mitigate the utter evil of those aims, we have reached new depths. If Hamas is a resistance movement, the KKK was a grass roots self-help movement. The Secretary should offer in immediate recantation of this ill conceived remark and offer an apology to the victims of Hamas terror.Flag

Name: Kerry F Leight on Feb 8, 2007Comments: Has Condi Rice decided that we need to comprimise with the terrorists now Or is she purposely telling the world that we are weak on terrorism and need to placate these barbarians There IS a Palistinian State already, it's called GAZA!!! Should Israel try to forment a peace with an organization which can't even stop killing it's own Who consider buying arms more important than feeding it's people or constructing a national infrastructure to benifit their majority ONE mis-spoken word is a mistake, a series of "mis-speaking" is seen as a policy change by the US. Do we, as a country, support totalitarionism nowFlag

Name: Joshua Kirman on Feb 23, 2007Comments: Ms. Rice, There are far too many terror apologists in our political and academic systems. Yourself and the State Department have engineered the disastrous conversion of Gaza into a a full terrorist armed enclave by removing Israel's border security and placing a toothless bunch of European monitors to "guard" the border between Egypt and Gaza, all of whom have already fled in fear of the Palestinian terror groups that have since moved millions of rounds of ammo and scores of tons of explosive, not to mention RPG's, anti-tank missiles and other heavy weapons into Gaza. Is this the latest State Department vision of peace in this region Next you'll be telling our troops in Iraq to turn border security over to the Iranians!! Hamas is a deadly terror group that is raising its children with the dream of Israel's destruction, and has already murdered thousands of Israelis in homicide bus bombings, shootings, knifing attacks and more. Resistance They could have had a state ten times over, but have rejected it each time. Their goal is in their charter - the destruction of the State Israel - can anyone in the State Department read You have sent a message to people in despotic regimes around the world that the US is not to be trusted when it comes down to standing by our friends - on the contrary, you have shown our enemies that you would rather pressure our friends (Israel) into sucididal concessions than challenge and simply call terrorists for what they are - bloodthirty killers who can't wait to die as they blow up those they hate. You have legitimized one of the most violent and bloodthirsty terror groups in the world with your gaffe - apologies are only the start of what you need to do to repair this. AND PLEASE STOP SENDING ARMS TO ABBAS - HAMAS IS GETTING THESE ONE WAY OR ANOTHER - STOP ARMING HAMAS!!!Flag

Name: Kimberly Phillips on Jul 1, 2007Comments: It is absolutely unacceptable, unconsciounable that the lead diplomat of the USA should be stating such obvious falsehoods. Hamas has always been and will always be a terrorist entity. Their actions speak louder than words. Suicide bombings, car bombings, murders, kidnappings and beheadings are NOT the actions of resistance. It is pure terror and nothing else. Our government must stop turning a blind eye and wage a real way against the savages that have the goal of the anhilation of Western Civilization. I don't think an apology is enough. I think Ms. Rice has proven herself wholly incapable on a number of occasiions and her 'miscommunications' shows a lack of preparation and skill in dealing with issues of this magnitude. She should do the right thing and resign from this post immediately. Her allegiances are seriously in question based on a number of remarks made in the past this one perhaps being the most aggregious breach. Stop with the PC muslim sympathy and start behving like a patriotic American.Flag
