The State department officially lists Hamas as a terrorist organization, which is exactly what it is and has always been. Last week, US Secretary of State, Dr. Condoleeza Rice, while speaking at a European press conference, referred to terrorist Hamas as a "Resistance Movement." Those are the same words used by Al-Jazeera for Hamas. A \"Resistance Movement\" is very far from a Terrorist Organization. [ For transcript see: http://www.state.gov/secretary/rm/2007/79038.htm ] The only resistance by Hamas is resisting the lives of the many innocent victims of the bus bombings and other atrocities they have perpetrated against innocent people. \"So I just don\'t think that you can make a comparison between Yasser Arafat and Abu Mazen, somebody who\'s clearly committed to peace and who\'s prepared to stand on a peace platform. There\'s a reason Yasser Arafat couldn\'t make a deal. It\'s also the case that you had at that time a Palestinian Authority that was overrun by corruption, overrun by its ties with terrorism. And you -- and strangely, you had Hamas, of course, sitting out as a resistance movement, not at all, by the way, involved in the politics at all.\" No, they werent involved in politics. They were involved in killing innocent Israeli civillians. Condi Rice MUST APOLOGIZE to all the families and victims affected by Hamas Terrorism.
