Name: Tim Metcalfe on Aug 1, 2008Comments: More permanent cycling facilities are required throughout the UK. Road, BMXand possibly a Cycle Speedway facility will give a safe environment for people to acquire cycle skills which could then be transfered to safe road use. While a permanent facility would encourage more people to take up cycling as fitness hobbyFlag

Name: Peter Jones on Aug 5, 2008Comments: I have a son of 9 who has been cycling since the age of 5 I have had to do most of my rides with him on the road because there is no cycling facilities for road bikes in north Wales. He has just started to race this year and came second in the welsh championships last weekend in Tywyn thanks from the help from Jon Harland from go ride. I feel if Huw and the other children want to develop there skills they must have the correct and SAFE learning enviroment to train in. I would be willing to travel from Wrexham to support my son and others in the development of there skills but most of all to have fun and keep fit safely.Having spoken to people from clubs from South Wales they have excellent facilities with up to 80 children turning up to use the track a night. I feel that if the track was built that 1000`s of children and adults would use it.Flag
