RHETTA MORAN CAMPAIGN AGAINST 'UNFAIR' COSTS

The petition

We the undersigned condemn the actions of Salford University which has decided to apply for legal costs against a former senior research fellow whose academic work exposed the plight of people seeking asylum in the North of England.
We support the National Union of Journalists (NUJ) campaign against the university's plans to apply for what it sees as “unjust and unfair� costs against former employee and NUJ member Rhetta Moran who represented herself at Employment Tribunal hearings last year after being sacked from her post. We ask that the university stop the application for costs.
