Name: Fredrick Leong on Sep 17, 2008Comments: FOR ALL THEY HAVE DONE, THEY SHOULD REWARDED DUELY. IF A NORMAL PERSON TRAINS 100% FOR A COMPETITION, THE PARALYMPIANS HAVE TO DO 200% TO MAKE UP FOR THEIR DISABILITY. THEY BRING THE SAME AMOUNT OF PRIDE TO THE NATION AS ANY OTHER SPORTSMEN OR SPORTSWOMEN. BE FAIR AND TREAT THEM AS A NORMAL SINGAPOREAN. GIVE THEM THE REWARD, THEY DESERVE IT. THEY DID NOT ASK, BUT THEY DESERVE IT, GIVE THEM THEIR RECOGNITIONFlag

Name: Daniel Ong on Sep 17, 2008Comments: I really feel that it is unfair for the paralympians to be rewarded much lesser than the olympians since they are physically diabled which makes it so much tougher for them to compete in the sport. I just feel that the government should not overlook the efforts they had contributed, given the fact that they had won us a gold medal, as compared to the women table tennis Olympics team, who just won a silver medal.Flag

Respect this fact and give the due recognition and reward to our Paralympians, let them be glorifies as much or even more than the Olympians, this is what all Singaporeans want to see from deep of our Hearts.Flag
