Michigan is the only state in our nation to protect the pharmaceutical companies rather than its citizens. Michigan residents have no legal right to seek justice for those injured or killed by drugs approved by the FDA, even when the manufacturer's lie and/or omit vital information to the FDA when applying for approval. Michigan as a state has also lost millions because the state can not partake in class action lawsuits - we lost millions recently in a 3 billion settlement against the manufacture of Vioxx, Glaxo-Smith wherein each state EXCEPT Michigan received a portion in the neighborhood of 2 million. Do you want this law to change before it happens to your family? Help change this law.
