This petition is to have the Texas house of representatives. Review and hopefully lower the percentage currently used to determine the current child support rate.

With the economy change, price of living change and so forth. The Percentage rate needs to be reduced by a large amount.

Someone should not have to have 30, 40 or even 50% of their check taken away in child support. The non custodial parent, should get a chance to have a better quality of life AND give their children a better quality of life while in their possession. And not have to worry how they will eat ,pay bills, or how they will give their children a birthday party etc.

It also needs to be required that those receiving child support. Are working, and not just living off of child support, or that at least their spouse is working. To many only live on child support, which, hence the word, is meant to support their child.

No job...No child support!!
