Murrow. But such is not the case. Rather than being thanked for his persistence in getting to the bottom of a story, being thanked for his willingness to question authority, being thanked for his compassion and genuine care for the stories he covers, Aaron Brown has been kicked out of CNN. No, in this day and age it is much more important to the executive producers that their anchors look fitting on the cover of GQ than that they are capable, accomplished journalists. Anderson Cooper might the go-to-guy when there\'s a hurricane on the prowl, and the network needs somebody out on the spot in a windbreaker, but when we need an Edward R. Murrow, we should have an Aaron Brown.

Comments: I have always liked Aaron Brown since his Seattle Days. CNN could sure use him.
