To Whom This May Concern at CBS Productions, In the case of the television program CSI: Crime Scene Investigation we, the undersigned and myself are petitioning for the return of Louise Lombard and William Petersen to the series. The removal of these character/actors we feel has effected the series storyline and/or general viewing pleasure. After conducting some research regarding the television series ratings, I have noticed that the ratings had gone from 24.25 million viewers to 17.57 million viewers in the next episode after William Petersen left the series. When Louise Lombard left the series in season 8 the ratings dropped from 25.22 million viewers to 20.97 million viewers. As well the ranks of the episodes have also dropped after the leave of both characters/actors from #4 to #9 in television ranks. Each and every member of these groups are included in the Signature count. We the undersigned and myself the starter of this petition feel it would be in the best interest of the series and for the general ratings to return these characters to CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
