   Comments: I believe that Brian should be honored with the highest of honors. He is a great role model for the kids who watch. He is an excellent student. He plays the game the way it should be played. I don't think you can deny the fact that he is one of the most loyal sons of Rutgers. He signed on to a program when it was going nowhere, and he put Rutgers before himself and money when it came to taking the team to the next level. His unselfishness alone should earn him immortality at Rutgers.

   Comments: Simply stated- Brian Leonard personifies that which is good about college football. His abundant skills as a player are surpassed by his unselfishness and dedication to his team. Brian Leonard is the measure from which future RU greats will be judged. His #23 jersey should be given the honor of being the first number retired in The Birthplace of College Football
