North Chicago School District is scheduled to have the school board members removed by the State Superintendent as of July 1, 2012. The school board was elected by the citizens of North Chicago and should not be removed. After the school board voted against the charter school, Chris Koch, Illinois State School Superintendent decided he would move to overturn that decision and remove the board. He will then seek to sit a board of his choosing, leaving the citizens of North Chicago out of any decision making. This arbitrary decision should not be allowed.
