We the undersigned as members of the Fort Lauderdale Masters Swim team are deeply troubled by the announced departure of Marty Hendrick as its coach. Coach Hendrick runs one of the most successful Masters programs in the country. Because he runs it as a business ,your business. The city cannot afford to lose a man of this caliber. The program has over 150 dues paying members who have available 22 practices a week. We ask that you meet with Coach Hendrick and work out an agreement that will keep him as the Swim Fort Lauderdale masters coach.
