| 3 | Nathan Schickel | Mike is the best thing to happen to bike racing in IN/KY. He has more passion than nayone in the area, and believe me the area needs the passion he has for growing the sport.

Scott Bond |
Marilynn Hartman | Mike has been instrumental in bicycle racing growth in our region. I think it would hurt the progress that has been made over the last 5 years if he does not continue in the capacity that he has previously. Please restore his position.
Timothy Beirne | Mike is a huge asset to the cycling community in IN/Ky. It would be a big mistake to let Mike go! He has helped me and my team to organize some of the best events in the surrounding areas. Mike provides support and is always available.

Christopher Rowe | USA Cycling will set racing in Indiana and Kentucky back by years in one fell swoop if this stands. What gives?
William Stone | This was a bad decision. Indiana was well served by Mr. Hanley. I guess he wasn't mean enough, stupid enough, or impolite enough to really be a USA Cycling Representative. Nobody wanted to work with you idiots before Mr. Hanley worked to undo the damage your pitiful leadership accomplished in 2003. You are a stupid and venal group of idiots.

Gregg Rokosh | I have only heard praise for the work Mike has done in facilitating an excellent environment to promote cycling. The loss of an absolute asset to cycling due to a lack of judgement and effort is very unfortunate. Somebody needs to think beyond the small issues and put whats important at the forefront.
Greg Hale | Please address this matter in a professional manner and restore him to his rightful position.
| 23 | Logan McCulloch | I've never heard anything but positive remarks about Mike's service to our cycling and racing community. Please reconsider your decision. We are making great progress building this sport in Kentuckiana...please keep Mike on the team.

Hege Ravdal | Mike cares about cycling in our region. WE care about Mike. Please reinstate him!
Mitchell Kersting | I am the President of University of Kentucky Cycling Team. Mike Hanely has done so much to support our team and help educate us in cycling.
Royden Kern |
Brian Schworm |
Samuel Janes | I think this is a shame. Mike Hanley was one of the best things about usa cycling. While I have to pay to have the license for racing, that is the only way I will support usa cycling until Mike has been reinstated.
Jonathon Thompson | My dealings with Mike have been nothing but possitive.
Anonymous | Our region has sucked badly until Mike Hanley came along. I finally saw more and better races. Racers were getting excellent service from their representative(CUSTOMER SERVICE).Now, back to the dark ages...again.
Jerry Ortega | obviously usac has not learned from the debacle that caused many of the independent organizations to form. It has taken years and years to build back the program and the friendships a good rep provides. Good job USAC....way to improve our program. Pleas reinstate Mike Hanley
John Gatch | Mike has been instrumental in the racing scene here in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. He has helped me as a promoter and a racer. I just saw him a few weeks ago at a Cycling Summit where he spoke eloquently and effectively on USAC's behalf.
Mike Purvis |
Sean Kettring |
Michael McShane | We finally had a rep that did his job and represented all parties fairly. Mike provided valuable input and support in the development of a regional junior squad in the midwest, which shows he has a vision for cycling's future. His honesty, experience and knowledge of local racers will not be easily replaced. We need people like Mike Hanley involved incycling....let's get him back.
tom peek | reinstated Mike Hanley!!!
Mitch Graham | This sets the Ohio Valley back at least 10 years right at the moment some momentum was being achieved. Mike was largely responsible for that.
Stewart Scovil | Once again USAC has no idea what they are doing.
Alice Stevenson | Please restore Mike as the midwest regional rep. We really need him.
Graham Dewart |
Chad Boyles | I dealt with Mike when I was first coming up as a racer. He was a fair and helpful representative for USA cycling. I think it would be a great loss for the Midwest and for USA cycling.
Chad Boyles | I dealt with Mike when I was first coming up as a racer. He was a fair and helpful representative for USA cycling. I think it would be a great loss for the Midwest and for USA cycling.
Marek Jasinski | I believe that a terrible mistake has been made by US Cycling and I want to let them know as soon as possible. Mike Hanley has always been 'the' person that I could could go to and trust with any issues or concerns that I had regarding cycling here in the midwest and to let him go over some issues that were handled by him as best as possible was not the correct thing to do. I want to let USA Cycling know that this will be a great disruption and cause more turmoil in the association regardless of who the next person installed in that position may be. Please do the correct thing and reinstate Mike Hanley to his previous position and start listening more to the complaints of the local people and taking input from others rather than just a few choice peole. Thank you.

Anonymous | Mike has been very supportive of the effort to expand and promote bicycle racing in the Kentucky area, an area which was previously ignored for some odd reason. Mike saw that people in this area had a vision of how to grow racing and at the same time promote cycling to non-racers. Please recognize that Mike is an ASSET to USA Cycling and reinstate him as our regional director! We need him...

Rebecca Anderson | USAC: Your "leadership" long ago started to look questionable, at best. You are in office to serve the riders and Mike Hanley did a great job. You all didn't have one fan out in the peloton when you started and now you are inciting deep resentment and distrust. Good luck with that.
