In 2002 I was convicted of a burglary charge for being associated with a bad group of people whom removed some small items from a person's garage. Although I didn't physically remove the items myself, I was guilty by association and accepted my charges and was convicted of a felony. The garage was attached to the homeowner's house and therefore is considered burglary. I served my sentence of 120 days in Anoka county workhouse and have since successfully completed treatment and have been out of trouble ever since. My charge was reduced to a gross misdemeanor after successfully completing probation due to good behavior and having a stay of imposition. I'm inquiring about getting my firearm rights reinstated becasue I hunt as a hobby and am looking to purchase a hunting rifle.
