| 1089 | patsy l hewett | we can barely afford our doctors visits and meds now and if there are irresponsible changes made to healthcare we will join the millions who cannot afford healthcare at all. i have several chronic problems. my husband has c.o.p.d. and disabilities resulting from a 47 foot fall on his job. as an example, we are in the process of trying to get him a scooter so he can get into the doctors office when he is sick, without our current benefits there is no way we would be able to even consider such a purchase, in our opinion the healthcare policy currently being proposed would put senior citizens into a "euthanasia" mode, if we are put on a long waiting list for a critical procedure, we could die before our turn to be seen came up. this is a vital issue that all americans need to speak out against! sincerely, patsy l. hewett, and hoyle g. hewett,jr. |
