AnonymousHealthcare should not be unaffordable and unattainable. This plan will drive our heathcare model into more of the rich get the proper care and the dwindling middle class/poor get crumbs for care.....why raise the price of a procedure 3 times the cost? This is something that only doctors and specialists are benefiting by.....(.hmmmm don't these healthcare providers deserve having more than 3 houses/4 cars/exoctic business travel vacations/ enjoying CEO perks, etc...pork barrel spending for sure)...........please , greed should not be found in a healthcare system.......Carilion to me used to mean quality and fairness, now I am not to sure............

AnonymousI would just like to say that I am an employee of Carilion. I have been garnished by Carilion repeatedly to the tune of over $13,000.00 in the last 12 months for bills I was told would be covered by Charity Care...Not for profit my backside! I give one third of my measly check to benefits, they garnish another third of my check. How am I supposed to pay bills and feed my family with the third that is left? When trying to make payment arrangements I am told what I can afford to give of my check is "not enough". I am afraid if I stand up to them I will lose my job!

Will Hunter, J.D., CPAI would also like to be on your e-mail or mailing list as far as future meetings are concerned. I would also like to volunteer our companies' services in any way needed. Our companies are HCI-HealthCare Consulting and EBS-Employee Benefits Services. We are located in Lynchburg but do a lot of work in SW VA
David AndersonAs a small business owner, I believe that our communities are better served by independent, local people making business decisions. The local people are responsible to their comminities and will work to better those communities. Much of the problems we are currently facing in the mortgage industry are due to decision makers not in communities and not responsible for the collection of the mortgages.

Milton HardyI am a veteran of the US Navy and Army. I am also a community leader within my local church. I served my country proudly. Please don't ruin Roanoke. I came back to this city because I loved the economy here. Im getting married. I want to build my future here. Economy and healthcare are driving interests for my decision to stay here.
Mark ColemanThe Clinic model helps only Carilion - not the doctors, not the community and not the patient.

AnonymousPlease resolve aging population patient care problems your hospitals now have (overly long emergency room waits and no protocol for patients with dementia) and coordinate how your hospital and billing agencies work. A nasty collection agency letter is an inappropriate response from a hospital that claims to care for it's patients.

AnonymousWhere can we get info about Carillon charges for service? Probably in the wrong place for this question but it's worth a try.

AnonymousI work in the healthcare and I am a medical coder that is watching our company lose money because of Carilion buying up all the business in the area. I hope that we can stop this from happening. We all need a job to pay our bills... Thanks
AnonymousWhen you are a single mom and pay what you can on medical bills and a non profit hospital threatens you with their collection efforts and on top of that adds interest to your medical bill, there is a problem especially when you pay on it every month and never miss a payment. Who can pay a big balance in three installments? ****Also, who gives you the right to have your big fine fancy parties with liquor and all the fixings for so many different "events" with money that is from a non-profit hospital. NONPROFIT MY BLEEP! I would like to know how those accountants get by with that????? It definitely needs to be look into. What is worse than that is that the federal and state government continues to give money to this hospital who in no way, shape or form can be considered NONPROFIT. Wake up AMERICA, we need to right to the government. Local politicians need to rise above and speak out regarding this. Will this happen, NO they are scared.
