Name: Dr. Gurmukh Singh on Jun 18, 2010Comments: I am a sikh who ties a turban even when I go for work in my university . Nobody has asked me to remove my turban during my work. Turban is a gift from my Guru and it should be respected just like a cross for Christians. Nobody asks the pope to remove his ceremonial hat and he can travel anywhere with it. What is wrong with turban of a Sikh gentleman? I think airport/custom officers should be taught history of Sikhs. During world wars I and II, more than 80,000 sikhs had sacrificed their lives for the sake of allied forces and they fought the enemy with their turbans on during war time. Thanks for your time!Name of your Organisation: SUNY at Fredonia, NY,Location : United StatesFlag

Name: Gurminderjit Singh Bajwa on Jun 18, 2010Comments: This is not fair on our part. Today we have so many accurate scanning devices and we should rather use them instead of searching Sikh turban with hand. I hope that you will take care of Sikh emotions and sentiments and i look forward a positive decision about this issueName of your Organisation: University of AlbertaLocation : CanadaFlag

Name: Paramjit Singh on Jun 19, 2010Comments: I have to support this petition as very low numbers of Sikhs who wear Dastaar. We have unfortunately very low numbers of visible Sikhs in India and this is known to all the other governments. However, we have to win for the sake of Khalsa.Name of your Organisation:Location : AustraliaFlag

Name: Gurmukh Singh Dhami Adelaide on Jun 19, 2010Comments: Singh is King and it can only be achieved if he is wearing his crown... These recalcitrant fools need to be educated that the Sikhs fought for them in previous world wars and died saving their ancestors and they live to enjoy that sacrifice. Respect for the turban cannot be compromisedName of your Organisation: The RED KHANDALocation : AustraliaFlag

The security resources can be better utelized to focus on the terrorists.Name of your Organisation:Location : United StatesFlag
