We, the undersigned ETFO teachers, demand that ETFO President Sam Hammond, Vice-president James MacCormack, ETT President Martin Long and Executive Officers' Karen Brown, Eugene James, Sonia Ellis-Seguin, Helen Victoros, Doris Duni, John Smith, Pam Dogra, and Andy Lomicki resign from the ETFO and ETT executives! Under the imposition of Bill 115 by the former McGuinty and current Wynne government, you have failed to protect members' rights and previously earned benefits from the government's unprecedented unfair attack on members as decent public sector workers in Ontario. Your attempts at negotiations with the provincial government have been feeble, non-structured, and inadequate, and communication with the membership has been erratic and poor. The membership has lost benefits and a reduction in salary that need not have occurred had you negotiated in good faith with transparency and accountability. It has become a devisive and anxiety-ridden body caused by your incompetence and lack of leadership. You have knowingly misrepresented members and put your own selfish desires ahead of the membership that elected you to serve and protect them. In protest, members in increasing numbers are challenging you by resuming extra-curriculars. We demand that you do the honourable thing by resigning now!
