We the following parents of children at Dominion Trail Elementary request that peanut/tree nut free snacks be allowed immediately for all children.  No grade/child shall be excluded as in the past, and a list of "safe snacks" will be provided to ensure the safety of severely allergic children.  This list will include fruits and vegetables, cheese, crackers, and pretzels, etc. which are deemed safe.  We as parents, request this as it is our right to see that our children do not go hungry during the long, very active school day. We also agree to adhere to the "safe snack" list to protect those severely allergic children. Those below signed parents who do not require snacks for their children, do however support the rights of the other children to have a snack when hungry (at a time set by the teacher depending upon the daily schedule. )
