Twenty four dollars is way to much for a family trying to pay respects. History shouldnt be behind a paywall like this. Shameful.
Memorial Museum could not be provide ANY charges for ALL Visitors, such as Hollocost Museum on Washington, D.C. The State Dovernment as well as a Federal Government HAVE TO BE INVOLVE, RESPONSIBLE and to find any funds for this a very special for peoples memory Museum.
We want as many children and adults to be able visit the memorial and to always remember the innocent people that lost their life because of the worst criminals against the humanity. Please make wide open to all!
The admission fee helps ensure that the 9/11 Memorial Museum’s mission of education and commemoration can continue. The 9/11 Memorial & Museum does not receive any city, state, or federal funding, so the admission charge is critical to support stringent security for a twice-attacked site, preservation of artifacts, education programs, commemorative ceremonies and maintenance of the Memorial and Museum. People should not be asked to pay for memory. It is a shame! This is a national memorial, and the city must fins ways to support it in every way together with federal authorities.
