I/We would like to humbly place my/our request to the City of Chesterfield to lay a few cricket pitches either at the existing soccer, football or baseball fields or create a dedicated space for this purpose. Cricket is the second most popular sport in the world after soccer. Cricket has an overwhelming support and following amongst our residents and yet, no place to play within the city. By laying a few cricket pitches within the city, Chesterfield will be viewed as a community that nurtures community integration in supporting diversity and youth development.

As a proud resident of this wonderful and vibrant “Show-Me” state who does/brings a lot of business to the City of Chesterfield, I/we join in my/our request by strongly recommending the City of Chesterfield to approve my/our request in supporting cricket along with other sports such as soccer, baseball and football to be played at parks. I/We also appreciate all the city officials for their encouragement and support by playing a positive role in encouraging youth development in this region.
