Republicans Against Dynasties
When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another… so starts our Declaration of Independence. Our country is fast approaching a point of no return. The Republican Party has relinquished its conservative values - its “adult in the room” leadership. Behind the guidance of such neoconservatives as Karl Rove and American Crossroads, the conservative brand is maneuvering to outspend and outgrow all political competition. Instead of standing firm on core principles these conservative charlatans talk about demographics. With whiteboard in hand they explain how to destroy principle to obtain victory. This is not the conservative party of Ronald Reagan.
The Republican Party decline started with Georg Herbert Walker
Bush. George W. Bush was a bigger spender than Lyndon B. Johnson in terms of
discretionary spending as reported by the CATO institute. Jeb wants to “lose
the primary to win the general”. He clearly doesn’t want or need my vote. He
continues a proud neoconservative course. It is time we stand on principle, not maneuver
for votes. The GOP needs to awaken from its slumber, to embrace true
conservative values, to exercise laws that already exist, to protect our
borders, to be fiscally responsible, to create jobs for Americans already in
this country… it is simply time to be adult! The time has long since passed
when the conservative base should be received with as much empathy as illegal
immigrants.
To this end, I pledge if Jeb Bush is delivered as the GOP nominee for president in 2016 - I will vote for the Democrat party nominee regardless of the candidate.
