Replace Don Waddell as Atlanta Thrashers GM

Since his hiring in 1998, Don Waddell has had considerable opportunity to draft, sign and acquire sufficient player, coaching and scouting talent to establish the Atlanta Thrashers as a playoff-caliber hockey club capable of winning the Stanley Cup. He has failed to do.
We the undersigned season ticket holders and supporters of the Atlanta Thrashers hockey club urge the Atlanta Spirit Group to immediately terminate Don Waddell\'s contract as General Manager of the Atlanta Thrashers, and to convene a search committee led by an experienced NHL executive, who is not personally a candidate for the post, to identify qualified candidates to succeed Waddell as the club\'s General Manager.
