President Obama: Secr. Salazar has not supported your Freedom of Science policy and has in other ways contributed to the degradation and loss of our natural resources. Protect our resources for the public not for special interest extractors supported by Salazar. Salazar has again demonstrated he is not the man for the job with a $42 million "research" project to evaluate the condition of BLM lands where agency scientists were told to exclude impacts of beef production on those lands. Salazar's connections with livestock industry lobbyists, as well as those representing oil and gas corporations, disqualifies him for his present position. Your "Truth in Science" policy has been ignored in his administration of BLM.
