Replace County buildings showing individual names with "Board of County Commissioners"

Lorain County Commissioners, although elected officials are also candidates and campaigning while holding office.  Their names appearing on County buildings misrepresent the intentions of the Board of County Commissioners by making it look like these individuals paid out of pocket for these buildings.  It is in fact the taxpayers who paid for these buildings and facilities.  This is misuse of public money and a form of free advertising for these candidates at the taxpayer's expense.  In signing this petition you agree that personal names be taken off public buildings and be replaced with "Board of County Commissioners."  This will save taxpayers money when newly elected commissioners take office because the names won't need to be changed.  "Board of County Commissioners", sums up who is responsible, whoever is in office.  An added note, it has been proposed to remove the names and change it to "Board of County Commissioners", but it was voted down two to one by the people who's names appear on all the signs.
