Repeal the new teen driving laws in Michigan
The intentions of the new teen driving restrictions are righteous. However, the movement has been IMMENSELY disorganized and un-coordinated. Multiple calls to even the same police station in terms of what may be an "authorized activity" consistently yield completely different results. After being rudely scolded and having had enough of this policy, I propose change. Simply repeal the law until things are more black and white. Why should a 16 year-old in Farmington Hills be ticketed for going to the same event a 16-year old in Livonia did not even receive a citation for? The only "crime" being committed here is driving a couple of friends home after 10:00...Let's get some petitions going to change this law for the sake of all families in the state of Michigan!
