| 51 | Penny Griber | If environmental protection is the goal, there are other ways to protect the environment than a total restriction on use of private property. The State can protect the environment without depriving property owners of their right to use their land in accordance with local zoning laws and existing environmental regulations in effect prior to adoption of the law. If the State wants to take all use of the land, then it has to pay property owners full value for the property. If the State cannot pay for Highlands properties, then private property owners should have the same rights to develop their land that exists in other parts of the State. |
| 52 | Hing Lum | Repeal this law. It is un-American and promotes stealing by the legislators. |

| 60 | Jeffrey Careaga, P.E. | The Highlands Act has damaged the NJ economy. My clients have lost hundreds of millions of dollars in land equity, and the State of NJ has no method of paying them back at this time. Farmers and large landowners have lost their retirement and are losing their properties as a result of this act. Many jobs have been lost as a result of this act. The delineation between the planning area and the preservation area is politically based and not based on the proposed intent of the regulations. |
| 61 | Anonymous | This act is a specialized waste of beaurocratic management. Scientifically unique areas, such as the Great Swamp, and wildlife areas should definitely be preserved, but this highlands area and most of the pinelands area regulations are crocks. |
| 62 | matt gilmore | I feal that my proptery was stolen from me . but i still have to take care of it .this sucks |
| 63 | Joel Konya | This act is unconstitutional - a land grab that will hurt many property owners and businesses alike. |

| 65 | Steven Balzano | You are going to have to wait a long time for the final RMP! |

| 78 | Anonymous | Why did all the original staff leave the Council? They had the most direct experience in the Highlands region and its communities. Now the staff is a bunch of "yes" men that can't or are not allowed to think for themselves. Once Zellner left and Balzano arrived is was all down hill. What a shame !!!!!!!!!!!! |

| 80 | Eugenia Matthews | Repeal the Highland's Act! |
| 81 | Anonymous | Not a weenie, just a damn property owner! |
| 82 | Steven Balzano | ps - I know you complainers are exterminating endangered species on your properties - I can see it from the aerials we've been flying. Nobody is safe from the cameras of big brother! |
| 83 | Richard Harris | Balzano's Park is melting in the dark
All the sweet, green icing flowing down
Someone left the cake out in the rain
I don't think that I can take it
'Cause it took so long to bake it
And I'll never have that RMP again
Oh, no! |
| 84 | John Weingart | STEVIE YOU'RE DOING A HECK OF A JOB! |
| 85 | Steve Balzano | Thanks, Dad! |
| 86 | pete hays | They're stealing my land!!! |
| 87 | paula hays | |
| 88 | Gil Taylor Jr | What a waste.
There is no $$ to pay for this Act, and there never will be.
Let supply and demand dictate the price and available of our lands.
We sure don't need any of our "good honest" friends in Trenton looking out for best intrests. |
| 89 | Robert & Linda Cline | The Highlands Act takes local control away. Local goverment knows better what is best for their community than a state appointed committee. Property owners in the affected area have lost a great deal of their property value. |
| 90 | Jimmy Webb | Richard, that was beautiful, baby , beautiful (Balzano Park is melting in the dark...). I couldn't have said it better myself. |
| 91 | Steve Balzano | John, what technical reports? You know I didn't write no stinking technical reports! |
| 92 | Gil Gloria Taylor | |
| 93 | Steve Balzano | So, John, what do you say we go oingo boingo some of that weird science, eh? |
| 94 | Ernst Schlueter | I would happily share our story with any one who would listen. I am seeking legal advice as we speak. Investment property purchased 25 years ago, appraised at taxable value over 690,000 is virtually worthless with this law. It has devasted my parents and cost them years of grief and taxes. |

| 97 | Anonymous | CONTROLING PEOPLES DREAMS OF BUILDING HOME ON THEIR LAND IS WHY AMERICA IS AMERICA. YES THERE SHOULD BE PARAMETERS, BUT HOW CAN U TELL SOMEONE THAT THERE 3 ACRES ARE ON GOOD FOR A 100X100 AREA TO BUILD, OH AND STILL PAY TAXES ON ALL THE UNUSED PROPERTY-NOT FAIR!! |

| 99 | Jim Vellis | |
| 100 | Theresa Marie Gargano | As a landowner with the area of the Highlands Act, my equity has been stolen by the State without due and just compensation. |
