Name: Chris Reiner on Jan 23, 2007Comments: Don't want money for my land. Want my kids and grandkids to be able to live here if they want. What's wrong with a house on 5-10 acres 300' - 1000' buffers is a taking.Flag

Name: Richard LaIacoma on Jan 23, 2007Comments: It is completely unfair to ask the landowners to bear the entire burden through the loss of their land value. Before the Master Plan was released, a vehicle to derive the financing needed to compensate the landowners should have been developed and incorporated into the Master Plan. No politician wants to support additional taxes, but for this Act to be fair a watertax for on of those that benefit would serve to spread the burden in an equitable manner. If no compensation is given to the landowners then the act should be repealed.Flag

Only Communist Countries or Countries ruled by Dictators will take your land. What the hell do you think our own Government has done Dictate to us 'Flag

Why isn't Knowlton Twp. within the Highlands, with 2 rivers running through it....I heard the Mayor of Knowlton was on the Highlands Commission.....is heFlag
