As per consultations with at least two local plumbing professionals, it has been documented that a few of the 12 homes located within the 800 block of Joan Terrace have experienced individual sewer line blockages. Via professional snake camera probing, it has been been determined that these blockages were due to roots growing and entering from the city's main sewer line connection. Over time, this will continue to be an on-going and costly scenario for the property owners, if it is not addressed promptly by the city. We the tax-paying residents of this neighborhood are asking the city to assess and repair this problem as soon as possible, so that we will not continue to incur the on-going expense of maintaining this problem.
