As a member of the Yale community, I believe that Yale University should update the Advisory Committee on Investor Responsibility in order to ensure that our endowment is invested in a way that reflects Yale's institutional values. To that end, I support the institution of the changes recommended by the Responsible Endowment Project in their report, "Responsible Returns," including a focus on active ownership, restored transparency, elected members, and enhanced reporting.

Refining the structure of the Advisory Committee on Investor Responsibility requires a clear demonstration of community consensus. Reaching one hundred signatures will provide the leverage necessary to present our case to the administration with greater authority.

the committee is outdated and needs real reform. elect people who actually care about the impact.

its 2016 we need to know where our money is going. transparency is not a radical idea.
