   Comments: I know a few people who use pulse as a way to talk about things they can't with their parents. Even if this program helps one teenager, is it not worth it

I AGREE TO KEEP PULSE OPEN BECAUSE WERE GONNA BE LOOKING AFTER YOU GUYS WHEN YOUR OLD SO YOU DON'T WANT US TO BE A BUNCH OF DEPRESSED PREGNENT AIDS INFECTED GENERATION.

    Comments: I was volunteering 1 evening per week at Pulse, and I think it is a much needed service in the Halton area. The Youth in the community need somewhere to go when they do not have a network of adults to go to. I am 42 yrs old and I was a very troubled teeneager. I wish I had a safe haven place as this to go at that time. It certainly would have detered me from many many teenage issues I went on to suffer without support. Also, without this type of facility, inevitably the government end ups dealing with these Youths, later on and not in positive situations. There is no question in my mind this Centre needs to re-open. I have nothing to gain by making this statement, monetarily or service wise, I only know this from personal experience and observation.     Comments: Pulse should NOT be closed. pulse is the one place that girls can go when they are afraid that they may be pregnant or they need birth control and dont want their parents to know that they are having sex. Pulse is a place where girls can go without telling their parents that they may be pregnant, if it is just a scare and they talked to their parents before they knew it was a scare, there is a lot of trust and respect lost for the girl. People need to keep somethings away from other people. taking pulse away isn't going to stop girls from haveing sex it will just make the chances of becoming pregnant or catching an STD. So bring pulse back and keep the teenage girls safe.

    Comments: pulse is a great place that should stay pen to keep people safe and alot of time people are having sex and not using condoms because they dont want to have to buy them and pulse had condoms so people would have some that they would use because they dont have to spend so much money on buying them ... i am in grade 12 now but i know that when i was in grades 8-10 i was into having sex and i had no place that i could go to talk about all the stuff i was doing and how i could start my life again but a friend of mine told me about pulse and it helped me out .. for grade 11 and now i have changed my way of thinking and i am safe ... i couldn't have changed my path so fast if it wasn't for the people at pulse. thank you for doing this to keep pulse open Mel
