Name: Brian Groh on Jul 31, 2007Comments: The recent closures are barely understood. Many look at the barricades curiously, wondering if it applies to Hikers, Bikers, Vehicles, Horses or to all. We who abide watch dozens go beyond boundaries without incident. Might as well open it back up to all instead of just rewarding those who ignore the boundary restrictions.Flag

Name: Pamela Reitnauer on Jul 31, 2007Comments: I understand the need for precaution in this very dry fire season however, the park has been restricted long enough. It was meant to be enjoyed by ALL, not just those who choose to break the rules and go to restricted areas like Mount Hollywood anyway. If you're not going to enforce the closures by regularly patroling the park, and fining those who break the rules, what's the point of having certain areas closed!Flag

Name: Andres A. Nunez Sr. on Jul 31, 2007Comments: Yes, please reopen the Griffith Park, we need it not just us the joggers, hikers and walkers, also our dogs are demanding the park to be open again. We The Angelinos we need to have it open to enjoy the nature, at least getting away from the city for a moment. I would like to reconsider all our petitions, there is no harm in walking in the trials that we used to use for our relax, enjoyment and excercise.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Aug 1, 2007Comments: Come on, now. You seem to be taking eminent domain over Griffith Park. Not yours to do. Please stop dithering, and open the trails. And any you still won't open, please explain in plain English why you're not opening them.Flag
