Name: Amy on Jan 16, 2013Comments: This show is truly special to a lot of women and regardless if it met your expectations of viewer numbers or not (over 2 million is spectacular!), then you should have at least kept it for the loyal fans and stand true to what Lifetime represents, "your life, your time" that was designed specifically for women - hopefully a better network will pick it up and show more respect for not just the fans but the cast, writer and the story/characters of Drop Dead Diva that we all came to love. Even Kim Caswell!!! I mean, come on, she's prego with Parker and Grayson finally realized the amazing woman he had all along!! Who wouldn't want to see that play out!? We love DDD like a family a far too many people relied on it to give them something to look forward to in television and get that silly excitement of tears and laughter going while watching it then afterwards, just overall feel better whether the episode pulled at your heart strings and made you cry or made you laugh all gitty like a little teenage girl again - happy and content. Tell me, what other shows on tv these days make anyone feel good after watching it?? NONE. There are no shows, an hour long especially, that can actually pull the viewer in to it's fictional world that feels so real and relate-able to some things in their own lives. A show where you can actually build a bond with one of the characters and wish so hard that it were a reality, that these people did exist. Tv just isn't the same anymore and DDD was the last of its kind. Now it's being taken over by reality garbage that insults our intelligence and dumbs down our society. Good job Lifetime for contributing to ignorant America.Flag

Name: Collin Black on Jan 16, 2013Comments: I've scrolled through some signatures/comments on here and it's clear that not only has this show reeled in the average woman as a viewer, but men as well. It was refreshing to watch a show that wasn't based around the drama of reality tv or characters that are built off their looks. Having the lead role be a plus size woman showed others that just because you're heavy doesn't mean you aren't beautiful and can't be successful. It was a well played move in tv to have a skinny and conceited model have to come back in the body of someone the exact opposite that shows the lessons being learned, that no matter what you're smart and beautiful. This show gave my girlfriend and I something to look forward to in tv that isn't a quick ronchy comedy, or over the top serious drama based around murder investigations. It was put together just right so that it left you feeling good after watching it...not unstable and totally messed up in the head from the harsh reality that we live in that gets written into a script or the embarrassing lives of irrelevant people splashed across the screens and making these people rich for having no talent. And as for the number of viewers and how it's calculated, we dvr'd it and watched it Friday evening since I have to work nights so there are a lot more than 2.7 million viewers since you only count the ones from the night of the show and the 3 days following. I know we can't be the only ones that have to wait longer to watch it due to conflicting schedules so thanks for not taking us additional fans into consideration.Flag

Just in case things like this happen at least the loyal viewers get to see an ending to the show. Instead of us wondering what would have happened.Flag

Questions of body issue, justice, friendship, & romance... DDD speaks to MY life. I'm disappointed in Lifetime. Ratings prove I'm not alone.Flag

Name: Yahily Rivera on Jan 17, 2013Comments: Drop Dead Diva has been one of my favorite shows since it aired. I can't believe lifetime is taking away one of the better made shows they have in their arsenal. This show is sweet, and shows a side that is rapidly disappearing from TV. If edgier means sluttier, which is where this network seems to be heading, then count me out. I want shows with real women not porn with a plot that casts women as nothing more than sex objects. We are more than a body, Lifetime, and Drop Dead Diva showed that. And seriously, you're renewing a show about a prostitute ring disguised as a family drama over a funny, quirky show about women and how they fight against the stereotypes society has placed us in?Flag
