I am for having something at this cross section, possibly a light, as I have been in an accident (not my fault) with someone pulling out in front of me and totalling my truck. The 20 to 30 minute wait is not the way to start your evening. We have enough stress throughout the business day and now waiting the extra time to travel less than 2 miles adds to it.Flag

Name: Mary Bourgeois on Apr 4, 2007Comments: I have worked at Bayou Steel for 24 years and have about a 20 minute commute back and forth to work Since this stop has be installed it now takes me anywhere for 40 minutes to 1hour to get home in the afternoons. On some days it takes me 20 minutes to get from Bayou Steel to the stop sign. This is just crazy. I have small kids at home that I have been away from 9 hours due to my work schedule it is crazy that you have added an additional 20 to 30 minutes for me to get home to my kids.Flag

No one here has a clue as to right of way at intersections. you have therefore created an unsafe intersection. Please restore the intersection as it was, or invest in a light-set that is programmed to blink red and orange when not rush hour, and be traffic dependent 4 to 7 pm. WE HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY, USE IT TO ALEIVE THE ROAD RAGE. Lastly, as a further result of your actions , has any official seen the traffic on the Levee we're supposed to be protectingFlag
