Anyone attending Valencia High School with any interest actually being taught in math class, and in their grade point average is likely to know or have heard of Math Teacher ??? Debbie Harris. Among students, faculty, and alumni she is well known for her unpredictable and impulsive grade assignments. When registering, Debbie Harris's class is the only class that the students fear being assigned to, Why is this? This petition was started by a student who experienced the unpredictable grading of Harris first hand, had their G.P.A completely altered by undeserved impulsive grading, and wishes that no one else at Valencia High School will ever have to endure the same experiences. Whether you are a new student who wouldn't like to end up in the gamble that is one of Harris's courses in your later years, a current student who sympathizes with the G.P.A’s that have been ruined by Debbie Harris, or an alumni who has already endured them and would like to improve the school for our future generations, we all have a responsibility to keep this High School running with only the most reputable, capable, and caring teachers. By signing this petition you do your part in voicing your opinion which will be presented to the William S. Hart high School District Superintendent Robert Challinor. We will bypass Principal Priesz completely as he does no more than defend Debbie Harris when numerous parents have called to complain about her not teaching the students. For those concerned about anonymity, simply remove the check from the box at the bottom of the page "Show my name in the online signature list" when you sign and your name and Student number will not be revealed until the signature goal is achieved.  Please help our High School!
