Watching the count climb reminds me of the nights I spent worrying about who would be the next person targeted by his badge. We need to reach two hundred and fifty signatures before I take these files to the sheriff office. Please put this on your timeline and help us drive the final stretch.

I have spent my mornings reading the accounts pouring into the inbox and the pain behind these stories remains heavy to carry. These personal histories prove that what I went through was far from an isolated incident. I am currently organizing these testimonies into a formal report to present to the department officials.

I remember this man abusing his power 10 years ago when I was a teenager growing up on Lopez. Apparently he is is still at it. After reading what he did on Christmas Eve I was completely appalled. I agree wholeheartedly that this man should be removed from his position of power before something really terrible happens.
A police officer who lacks common sense and self-restraint even during a minor traffic stop is a danger to the community. He should be fired before he causes a tragedy. I am a 10 yr SJC resident.
our children should not be in fear of law enforcement officers... officer Felix has caused just that by his actions on Christmas Eve... it is truly sad to see our children in total fear of all police officers just because of one bad egg...
The simple fact that another Deputy had to restrain Felix is all anyone needs to know...Police in tense situations ALWAYS stick together and support each other...that they didn't that night speaks volumes
I called the sherrif department to let them know that FM was pointing a traffic gun at on coming traffic outside the middle and elementary schools, like he was shooting a gun over his forearm. It was so threatening, that I automaticlly flinched when I saw him pointing it at me. Over the top.
Ive been a passenger in a car that he stopped and witnessed him act unprofessionally while engaging with the driver of the vehicle
Had an interaction w/Felix today, struck me as a bully w/a badge just looking to pounce. Surely, we do not need such confrontational style in simple traffic stops?

I am from Lopez , San Juan County. I have no confidence in Felix Menjivar's decision making process under duress. He seems to overreact and has caused instability, fear and resentment toward our Sheriff's Dept. San Juan County deserves better.
