The council have placed cameras in unnecessary locations all over the borough of Ealing and are continuously fining the public for ridiculous reasons. They have recently gone on to win an award for issuing the most parking tickets out of every borough in this country. As a resident who lives within these regions, I can only think of 2 reasons as to why this is. Either we as people are seriously useless drivers and severely lack common sense, or the council are taking advantage of us in a very underhand manner. Well obviously as most would agree, I think the latter. The purpose of this petition is to get as many people as we can to force these cameras to be removed. It is the Labour party that are in charge of the council at this very moment in time. Every person that signs up to this petition, is putting themselves forward to say that they will not be voting for Labour in the next election if they continue to rob us like this. I am pretty sure that the majority of us would agree when I say that we already pay enough tax and get very little in return as to what the council provides for us. To top it off, the last thing we need is for them to continue to make money from us by making us look stupid and then get recognition for it. The more people we can get, the more likely it is that we can make this change take place. Please pass this on to all your friends and family. Let's not sit there and act helpless towards these situations. If we stick together as a community, we can try and force change for the right reasons. Let's do this everyone!!!
