Dear Prince William County,

We live in Powell's Landing in the Port Potomac area of Woodbridge.  Months ago, a Stop Sign at the intersection of Port Potomac and Jetty Loop was removed much to our relief.  A few days ago, it was put back in.  This Stop Sign is a danger.  It is on a hill on a main road and during the winter months those coming down hill skid and slide and either lose control and hit a curb or a person or another car.  Those going uphill after stopping may skid backwards or be unable to continue climbing the hill.  Jetty Loop is a dead-end road with little traffic whereas Port Potomac is a main road.  The Stop Sign on Jetty is fine; the one on Port Potomac needs to be removed.  As a community, we are requesting that you remove this Stop Sign.
