We feel that a maintainer of a channel should be very involved and available as much as possible. Additionally, when t27duck is present, the mood of the room deteriorates. After Saturday it would appear that the individuals who inhabit the room generally don't stick around and you're left with the regulars on the room who enjoy chatting in it. We believe that the founder and maintainer of a channel should reflect the needs of who's in the channel the majority of the time and not when the channel is being used for podcasts. The main reason for this petition after the aforementioned is largely in part of t27duck's banning of an individual named \g. He has implemented a permanent ban on this individual as well as a few others. We believe permanent bans do nothing but ruin the atmosphere of a channel. They also don't allow for a person to rectify their past behaviour and correct it in the future. The undersigned would like a more suitable maintainer of the #gonintendo IRC channel appointed.
