The people,want Genesee County Animal Control to change it's Director and philosophy to a "No-Kill" Shelter. All animals need to be treated humanely, with proper care, daily exercise, and medical care. The facility needs improvements to its ventilation and sewer and drainage system, more outside runs, larger kennels, and updates for a more welcoming environment. The practice of locked wards needs to end, and the practice of Heart-Sticking as a means of euthanasia must cease.
