With the success of the "Waterfront", Yonkers decided to develop other parts of Yonkers for recreational purposes. Since they cut off budgeting at school programs they felt that they can fund other Yonkers development projects by maximizing distribution of traffic tickets.

Every signal-light with a camera basically don't have a yellow light delay cheating drivers to get traffic tickets. This also endanger drivers and the people inside the car because sudden changes to green light to red light would force people to break fast resulting into to collisions.

Percentage of traffic tickets distributed by  signal-light cameras don't allow you to reason your action unless you decide to attend courts. I would rather get a traffic ticket from a human who I can explain my faults who can at least evaluate if my actions was accidental or intentional.

Lets support this petition to remove signal-light cameras in Yonkers!
