We would like to have the bio-diesel plant removed / relocated from the old Jacobs Manufacturing site. This plant has been the site of numerous fires and has caused the evacuation of several residences and businesses surrounding it. The owner of the business has not complied with many requests, or the law, to provide chemical information for the chemicals on site. This not only endangers the residents that reside nearby, but also the fire personnel and first responders that are going in to fight the fires. There have been two fires the first one on 24 May and the second one on 31 May. Both times the neighboring businesses and residences have been evacuated due to the unknown chemical exposure.
