Verizon built the 80-foot tall cell tower at HMS and Valentine Elementarywithout any building permits, inspections, tests or building planswith the City of San Marino or the Division of State Architects. Both government permits should have been obtained before the cell tower was built in 2006. High School tower owned by Global tower was located on earthquake fault line and also doesn't have valid DSA approval.
These cell sites towers located on our campuses expose our children and teachers to RF radiation at extreme close distance for years now. They could cause short term and long term irreversible and cumulative effects to people. The structure of the towers were not inspected properly; we demand the wireless carriers to remove the towers from our schools and move to at least 400 meter away from our schools.Sponsor
