This petition is being set up to convince Con Edison that the residents of N.Y.C should not have overhead power lines in their neighborhoods in this modern age. Overhead power lines are dangerous during storms and ugly to look at. They should be buried underground.  We should be working towards a goal of beautifying neighborhoods with small trees and removing ugly looking poles and dangling lines.
