This petition was made for the removal of current Boys' Varsity Basketball Head Coach Charles Bennett. The reason for removal is that over the past 2 years Speedway has compiled a record of 11-28. Even though they won a Sectional Championship this past season that makes no difference.Two years ago the boy's Junior Varsity Basketball Team went 18-2 under coach Joe Smith one of those two loses was from Bennett coaching. Bennett Bennett has a tendency to "cut" players from his team by using the excuse that they weren't "dedicated" enough to the program. A player can start every game from his Freshman, Sophomore and Junior year then come his final season of playing he finds out that he didn't make the team.
