As you are aware, there have been recent disturbances at our beloved church. We are very saddened by these incidences, however it is our belief that this will end in the near future with your patience, faith and continued desire to support the church.

The leadership of the church has been attempting to work through its differences with Pastor Kindle. He continues to disrupt the harmony and holy spirit in our church by instigating this situation. He has pitted the new members against the original Calvary Baptist Church (CBC) members. Just recently he made a general "apology" then turned around and changed the lock on the front door ("for security reasons?"). We have ADT SECURITY!!! He just wanted us not to be able to hold our Call Meeting to discuss his future at CBC, on 4/14/2014. He had no right to do this. His name is not on the Deed to the Church, nor the Parsonage. WE, as members in good standing (and our former members which he turned away will agree), we pay with our tithes, the costs to run the Church and the Parsonage. It should be noted, his children over the age of 18 (they are over 21 at this time), are not entitled to be living in the house we "the congregation" finance. In addition, there are two adult women (non relatives to the Pastor), living in there since (Hurricane Sandy), November 2012. We've actually tried several times to get them leave. The Pastor continues to allow them to stay against the recommendations from the Trustee Board.

We will still be holding the call meeting on Monday, April 14, 2014 at 7:30 pm. Please be sure to come hear all the information needed to substantiate the need to suspend Pastor Kindle. Next, we will have a meeting on Monday, April 28th at 7:30pm to vote (by ballot & proxy), on the charges to have Pastor Kindle terminated.

Pastor was asked to step down on March 9, 2014. However, he refused. Effective that date he officially was out of order to continue as the sheperd of CBC. The new members he brought in after that date were under false pretenses and/or coerced to join and will not be able to have a vote...they were not even invited to this meeting.
