As a citizen of New Albany and a registered voter I would like to see the removal of New Albany Street Commissioner Mickey Thompson. For the past 5 yrs Mickey Thompson has been allowed to hire family and friends in full-time over people who have worked for the city for several years as part-time. He has hired all 3 of his sons which none of them held a valid drivers license at the time they were hired in full-time all though the bid sheets state you must hold a valid drivers license. This man has known connections to John Mattingly a retired Louisville Detective with a crooked back ground.
