The users signed below are Dish Network subscribers who have previously had the web-based "Remote Access" feature (formerly available from http://dish.sling.com/ but now available via http://www.dishnetwork.com/) working fine. Since the recent "improvements" to Remote Access, which included creating timers via satellite and being able to access Remote Access from the main Dish Network URL, it has become unreliable or stopped working entirely for us. We are technically-savvy users and we have confirmed all other aspects of our networks, confirmed that the Dish receiver is still connected and can see the internet, and confirmed by trying Remote Access from multiple browsers and computers. The problem is clearly at Dish Network's end, confirmed by the widespread simultaneous loss of this feature at the same time as the changes implemented by Dish. When we contact Dish Network, they claim that they know of no other people experiencing the problem. This petition is to demonstrate that this is not the case.
